The bandage applicator is a chrome wire frame applicator that is shaped like a sugar tong for applying Tubigrip tubular bandage size 00 or Tubegauz tubular bandage size 12 (bulky fingers). The bandage applicator works by sliding the entire measured tubular bandage onto the outside of the applicator and slip the applicator over the finger or toe. Pull off one end of the bandage at the bottom of the knuckle and slide the applicator towards the tip while releasing the bandage slowly. Get to the end, twist around and double back on yourself to finish where you started. The applicator can be slid off, leaving the bandage on the finger or toe to be secured in place with a strip of sticky tape, while covering a dressing or compressing a swollen or painful joint without increased pain
