The Curos disinfecting caps are designed to provide IV access ports and needle-free devices consistent protection from CRBSIs and other bacteria between accesses.
For use in clinical settings which have dedicated easy access storage at the bedside, the single Curos disinfecting cap is 100% auditable with passive disinfection, so always clean. The Curos disinfecting cap is designed with a visible colour for improved compliance monitoring and with no drying time required (except for neonatal).
Curos disinfecting caps are proven to deliver a 5-log reduction for the tested microorganisms: S. aureus, S. epidermidis, E. coli and P. aeruginosa. Curos effectively reduces gram positive and gram negative microorganisms that can lead to CRBSIs, improving patients therapy.
Curos disinfecting caps have been ANTT approved and is proven to protect ports for up to seven days, killing 99.9% of bacteria within one minute.
