Transtex Ultra-Glide PS patient specific flat slide sheet is designed to manoeuvre patients.
The Transtex slide sheet has a low friction silicone coated finish on both sides to provide a optimum low friction slide during patient movement and turning.
The slide sheet features handles along the full length of three sides for effective grip and safe patient movement. Handles on the top side of the sheet provide the positive benefit of supporting the patient head during transfer.
The Transtex slide sheet has an antibacterial finish that is used to kill bacteria and viruses.
The slide sheet is reusable and may be laundered using standard hospital laundry guidelines HSG(95)18.
The maximum recommended washing temperature is 80°C. Drip dry, (if necessary a low temperature tumble dry may be used).
The use of bleaching agents should be avoided.
Transtex slide sheets are not intended for lifting. All patient repositioning manoeuvres should be accomplished without lifting.
