Patients and residents can spend a long time in their beds and this will only increase as they get closer to end of life, so choosing the right mattress is imperative.

Our Static Pressure Care Mattresses are created using the latest Combustion Modified Ether (CME) foam technology to provide maximum stability and breathability. The Castellated foam surface creates multiple contact points to maximise the pressure redistribution. It also helps with the airflow around the mattress assisting the control of temperature and improving the comfort and ability to sleep. The specially designed U core surrounds the Castellated foam and provides additional rigidity and support.

At the head and foot ends of the bed, the castellated foam is shaped smaller to support a protect the most vulnerable areas, where the larger castellation in the middle, maximises the support of the body.

As with all our mattresses, they are encased with a multi-stretch, waterproof material to enhance the redistribution of pressure and reduce the potential of sores and ulcers. Using high-frequency welding, the foam is encapsulated with this Crib 5 composite tested material and prevents fluid ingress and a non-slip base is added as standard.

Our static mattresses exceed all the BS standards and comply with even the strictest of infection prevention control protocols and come with a 5-year Guarantee.
